Real ingredients. Real protein. Really delicious.
Clean Chocolate & Vanilla Ice Cream
Clean, creamy, and made without the junk.
This isn’t the ice cream that makes you bloated, foggy, or regretful.
I’ve been testing many recipes for this week, and these two are hands-down the winners—one chocolate, one vanilla—each packed with protein (optional), free of inflammatory oils, gums, and sweeteners… and ridiculously easy to make.
👉 The base? Real ingredients you can pronounce.
💪 The macros? Protein-forward and actually satisfying.
❌ The ingredients you won’t find? Carrageenan, seed oils, gums, or fake sugars.

🧠 Jen’s Clean Ice Cream Tips
Avoid “health” milks with gums, oils, or “natural flavors” (yes, even the popular ones).
Always check your protein powder—most sneak in gums, fake sweeteners, or “flavors.”
Want extra gut support and protein? Add a scoop of unflavored collagen peptides.
Don’t skip the sea salt—it enhances sweetness and supports hydration.
🧊 No Icy Disasters Here: Tips for Creamy Ninja Creami Perfection
Tried making a dairy-free ice cream only to have it come out like frozen sand? 😩 Been there.
Whether you’re using almond milk, coconut cream, or a protein-packed base—these tips will help you nail that ultra-creamy texture every time:
🍨 7 Tips for Perfect Texture with Your Ninja Creami
1. Add Fat
Use coconut milk/cream, cashew milk, or a spoonful of nut butter. Watery bases = icy results.
2. Blend It Smooth
Blend your base thoroughly before freezing. This prevents clumps and ensures a uniform texture.
3. Freeze Flat + Solid
Let it freeze upright and fully flat for at least 18–24 hours. Don’t skip this!
4. Re-Spin Like a Pro
If your first spin is crumbly or chalky, hit “Re-Spin.” Still off? Add 1–2 tbsp almond milk and spin again.
5. Sweeten for Softness
A little maple syrup, honey, or monk fruit helps keep it scoopable and soft.
6. Don’t Overfill the Pint
Leave a little room at the top to avoid uneven freezing or blender pressure.
7. Optional Add-Ins for Extra Creaminess
Try 1 tsp glycerin, collagen, or even a splash of vanilla extract for added smoothness.
📌 Bookmark this for every time you bust out the Creami. Because life’s too short for icy, sad scoops.
