What to "Eat-In-A-Day" To Shed Inflammation + Clean Hot Coco.

It’s 2025 and things in our life only change once we enable different habits. The coffee you make every morning…it’s a habit. The chicken you buy at the grocery…it’s a habit. The amount of water you drink in a day or the amount you sweat are all habits that are created in your daily routine.
If you continuously grocery shop the same, make the same meals - you will ultimately feel the same. In the past two days, my most frequent DM on instagram is… “can you show me what to eat in a day in order to lose inflammation?” Why, yes! Let’s start the new year with some very good insights that can help you better understand clean eating.
What is clean eating? Eating foods made with real ingredients that your body can recognize and digest. 90% of the food sold in grocery stories today did not exist 100 years ago and neither did the chronic diseases that exist today. Food and Health are connected but no one has ever taught us this. It has been disguised as calories, fat, carbs and protein instead.
How to begin a clean eating journey? First, you have to believe it works. You need to see the light. You need to find someone you resonate with. If you depend on a friend to do it with you — you will fail when they fail. You have to find an expert in the field that has results. I quickly scanned through the list of my former clients with inspiring stories to share. If you feel like any of these symptoms below, here is the light you need to see!

Next, avoid avoid these ingredients. Now that you know the ingredients to avoid, (which by the way, when you have the list of swaps — you do not need to memorize these ingredients!) next, you will need to know how to make your coffee clean because it is likely how you begin the day. Third, you need a plan. Below — is a plan, for a day. I selected recipes that did not take a lot of time and also consisted of a small amount of ingredients. I would encourage you to find clean meats, seafood and stock up on staples - bread, tortillas, condiments, rice, etc.

You can watch some youtube videos that explain clean eating or dive into deep conversations on what it means to eat clean. Glowy Smoothie
Serves 1
3/4 cups water
1.5 mangos (about 1.5 cups flesh)
1/2 cup arugula
1 /2 cup kale leaves
1/2 cup parsley
Directions: Blend all ingredients together at high speed. Be preparedfor an intense and delicious green smoothie! You can swap the fruit out for peaches, pineapple, cantaloupe - whichever sweetness you prefer. You can also swap out the greens for romaine, spinach, etc. However, I LOVE this recipe as-is.
Chicken Salad Sandwich
Serves 2
1 medium avocado
1 tbsp lime juice
1 cups shredded chicken (rotisserie or applegate grilled chicken work well)
1 tbsp red onion, diced
2 tbsp fresh chopped cilantro
1/2 clove garlic, mined
1/2 tbsp jalapeño (minced, optional)
Directions:In a large mixing bowl, mash the 1 ripened avocado with a fork.
Add 1 tbsp lime juice, sea salt and pepper to taste to the avocados and continue to
mash together until well mixed.
Add 1 cup shredded chicken, 1 tbsp diced red onion, 2 tbsp fresh chopped cilantro, 1/2 garlic clove, minced, 1/2 tbsp minced jalapeno to the avocado mixture.
Gently mix together.
Serve on Pacha Bread (code: wakeup) with clean mayo, mustard and sprouts. Or on a bed of lettuce, in a tortilla, with a spoon. You make the rules.
Clean Veggie Tacos
Serves 4
1 tbsp avocado or extra-virgin olive oil
1 bell pepper, any color, diced and seeds removed
1 eggplant, skin-on, diced
1 zucchini, ends removed, diced
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
10oz can tomatoes cilantro & jalapeños (or green chilies)
1 packet of Siete taco seasoning
Directions:
Heat 1 tbsp avocado or extra-virgin olive oil over medium-high heat in a large skillet.
Add 1 bell pepper, any color, diced and seeds removed and cook until skin is lightly charred.
Add 1 eggplant, skin-on, diced and 1 zucchini, ends removed and diced and cook until softened.
Add 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped, 10oz can tomatoes cilantro & jalapeños (or green chilies), 1 packet Siete taco seasoning (or another clean taco seasoning) and stir to combine.
Let simmer for around 5-7 more minutes or so for the flavors to blend together.
6. Serve with Sieté or Coyotas tortillas or on a bed of leafy greens.
