Why AG1 Isn’t as Clean as You Think
The greens powder I actually trust — and it’s not the one you’ve seen all over Instagram.
Let’s talk about AG1.
You’ve seen it everywhere — in podcasts, gym bags, influencer stories. It’s branded as the cleanest greens powder on the market.
But here’s the thing…
AG1 isn’t Wake up-clean. Not even close.
I know people want to feel better, support their gut, boost energy, and “do the healthy thing.”
But if you're drinking AG1 daily, thinking you're making the cleanest choice — you deserve the full picture.
🚩 Why AG1 Isn’t Actually Clean
Let’s read the label together.
1. It’s not organic.
There’s no USDA Organic certification on AG1. That means its greens may come from conventional farms sprayed with pesticides and herbicides.
2. It uses synthetic vitamins.
AG1 contains lab-made isolates like synthetic Vitamin C and B vitamins, in megadoses. These are often harder to absorb and unnecessary in excess — especially from greens powder.
3. It hides behind a proprietary blend.
You don’t know how much spirulina, chlorella, or ashwagandha is actually in it. Could be 500mg… could be 5mg. You’re paying for a formula you can’t evaluate.
4. It contains natural flavors and stevia.
Even though they’re “natural,” these can irritate the gut or trigger blood sugar reactions in some people. You won’t find either in truly clean powders.
5. It’s been flagged in the past.
AG1 previously received a Prop 65 warning in California for lead exposure. Yes, they now test batches — but if it were organic to begin with, this wouldn’t be a concern.
🌱 The Greens Powder I Actually Recommend
I’ve read a lot of labels. And when I went looking for the cleanest greens powder — the one that actually lived up to the Wake Up standard — only one made the cut:
🥇 Paleovalley Organic Supergreens
✅ 100% USDA Organic
✅ No cereal grasses (no wheatgrass, barley, or oat grass)
✅ No stevia, gums, flavors, or sweeteners
✅ No synthetic vitamins or additives
✅ No hidden blends — full transparency
✅ Gentle on the gut, packed with real nutrients
It’s made with ingredients like spirulina, kale, broccoli, turmeric, ginger, parsley, and chlorella — all from clean, organic farms.
And it actually tastes good — earthy, not swampy.
🧬 Why This Matters
If you're healing inflammation, supporting your gut, or dealing with hormone imbalance, you don’t need “healthwashed” marketing.
You need the real stuff:
Organic plants
No synthetics
No hidden blends
No BS
And that’s why Paleovalley is the one I use — and the only one I recommend.

If you’re one of the many people who thought AG1 was the cleanest… it’s not your fault. The branding is brilliant. But now you know better — and can choose better. 🙌
